WOW!!! I photographed my first wedding last weekend, and all I can say! WOW!!
All of the planning and prep before hand really paid off. Who knew shooting a wedding could be so magical? What an exciting day! It was held at the VFW Hall in Everett Washington. this is a special place because the brides’ father is retired military.
High school sweethearts with a shared love for dogs and a Chevy Mustang, Missy, Justin and their family and friends sure know how to throw a party and have fun. I got to witness many special moments, great friendships and an overall joyous event.
The most memorable moment for me was what happened during the Money Dance. It started out innocent enough. Both the bride and groom were dancing, with lots of laughs and people cutting in right and left. This dance shortly turned into a Money Fight when the groomsmen brought out long, noodle swords and the guests started paying them to challenge them to a duel. So funny to watch! Even the bride and groom dueled, and of course she won! As he lay there on the ground in defeat, his bride looking down on him smiling, the brides’ dad came over and tossed money on the floor near him for letting his daughter win. :)
Congratulations to Miss and Justin. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!
